A few years ago we went to Saint Croix in the Virgin Islands. The water was so beautiful. Such an amazing blue. My son was living there as a National Park Ranger. One day we took a break from playing in the Ocean and he took us to the rain forest. Now hear me out...I'm from Seattle and we have a Rainforest in the Olympic Mountains of Washington. But a rainforest on a tropical island was straight out of the Amazon- or at least it seemed that way. Big luscious ferns, tall moss covered trees and HUGE palm leaves. This dress captures all of that. The blue water, the lush rainforest. Add in the shirt dress structure and dare I say- she's perfect!
