My dad worked for Boeing for 40 yrs. Once I was old enough to drive by myself, my mom would let me drive to the airport to pick him up from his business trips. He traveled overseas a lot. So I would drive to Sea-Tac and take the train to the South Satellite where the international flights would come in. I loved these years in the 90s when passengers could still go out to the gate and wait for their family to arrive. The south Satellite at Sea-Tac is where passengers would go through customs and immigration. It also had SUPER LONG escalators and I LOVED to ride them. At the top, in the concourse, was a Seattle's Best Coffee kiosk. I would get a Raspberry Hot Chocolate. OH MY GOODNESS. It was so delicious. They always put chocolate shavings and a long chocolate stick on top of the whipped cream. It was heaven.
I would wait by the window to watch my dad go through customs. He usually saw me through the window and would wave. I Loved this so much
I don't know why this story came to mind when I saw this top. Maybe because it's cozy and comfortable and just perfect for heading to the airport? It's easy going but also easy to make it look like you tried.
So when you are planning your next trip, drop into Twirl for that perfect fit. And don't forget the raspberry hot chocolate with whipped cream!
